Michael Walker
Memorial website in the memory of your loved one
This memorial website was created in the memory of a son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and a friend, Michael Walker who was born in Jamaica on July 01, 1967 and passed away on August 10, 2007 at the age of 40.  We will remember you forever.

Michael “Mikey” St. Aubyn Walker was born July 1, 1967 in the parish of Kingston/St. Andrew, Jamaica to the union of Mr. & Mrs. Euhart and Linda Walker. He was the last of seven children to the union.

Mikey had one brother: Burris, and five sisters: Clover, Judy, Annette, Jacqueline, and Sandra. Mikey was educated in Jamaica at Swallowfield All Age, and Waterford High School. He worked for the Waterford Postal Services for a number of years.

He enjoyed listening to reggae music, loved watching track and fields, horse racing at the Caymanas Park race tracks, listening to, and playing football and cricket. The Brazilian football players were his favourite soccer stars, and he loved the cricket matches played in Portmore.

Mikey was a loving and caring person and was honoured with the title of “Sir Walks” by his friends in Portsmouth, a community where he grew up and spent many years. He had no children of his own, but he loved his nieces and nephews as if they were his own.

He leaves behind to mourn his parents: Euhart and Linda Walker of Dundee Florida and formerly of Kingston Jamaica. His brother Burris Walker of Florida; Sisters Clover Walker and Judy Walker-Redhead of Brooklyn, Annette Walker-Kochann of Italy, Jacqueline Walker-Palmer of Queens, Sandra Walker-Fries of Illinois.

His nieces Kimberley Williams, Nicollette Barton, Shawna Barton; nephews Ricardo Barton, Steven Garwood, Darahann Walker, Jeremy Walker, Eric Palmer Jr., Joshua Palmer; his grand-nephews Nor’ian, and Brandon, in-laws, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Mikey may your soul be at peace and light perpetually shine upon you.

You will forever be cherished in our hearts.
